px Group, the leading energy and infrastructure solutions business, can today announce two major new additions to its Senior Leadership Team.
Garry Lewis joins px Group as Chief Strategy Officer, and Mark Hobbs joins as Managing Director, Offshore Oil & Gas.
Garry Lewis will lead px Group’s business development team and will have responsibility for driving organic growth across the entire business in the UK and internationally, as well as exploring potential acquisitions.
Garry joins px Group after nine years at Amec Foster Wheeler and Worley – at both companies he was Vice President of Business Development. Garry has extensive experience in both contract and project delivery across the whole energy lifecycle – upstream through to downstream – having worked across drilling, fabric maintenance, asset integrity, and engineering during his career.
In his role, one of Mark Hobbs’ main focuses will be delivering growth for px Group in the upstream oil and gas sector and using his knowledge of managing mature North Sea assets to scale up px Group’s activity in that area.
Mark joins px Group after 17 years at Apache Corporation, the oil and gas exploration and production company, where he acquired considerable experience in managing mature North Sea assets. He was most recently VP for North Sea Region Operations and Projects at Apache North Sea, responsible for strategic development for the Forties and Beryl oil fields.
Mark also represented the company at Oil & Gas UK Advisory Council, Oil & Gas Authority and Step Change in Safety Leadership Team level and will continue to do so in his role at px Group.
The two senior additions build upon px Group’s recent strong growth and acquisitions of established energy businesses. px Group acquired NRG Well Management, the leading provider of well management services to the industry in April, following the acquisition of Camm-Pro, the project management specialist, in November.
