On behalf of our clients the px group manages strategic assets with an installed value approaching £1 billion and creating annual revenues in the region of £700 million. These assets generate more than 2GW of electricity - equivalent to over 8 percent of the UK installed Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power capacity – and process equivalent to 10 percent of the total UK gas consumption.
To do this we must develop relationships of trust with asset owners and act on their behalf with an independent and unbiased approach, always seeking to maximise commercial position and minimise risk.
As you would expect from a premier provider of such services our expertise does not stop at the delivery of site based operational services. Additional capability includes dedicated commercial teams to negotiate, contract, trade and reconcile the energy or commodities consumed or produced by the site facilities. All these skills are provided by our own pool of approximately 250 staff located at our operational sites or the head office in Stockton on Tees.
