Trevor High has been with px Group since inception in 2002, having started his career at the 1875MW Teesside Power Station in 1992. He held several positions there, including Plant Manager, until taking up a position at the Stockton Head Office in 2008 responsible for a number of operating sites.
He has continued in this capacity with px Group and is currently Managing Director, Industrial Parks, Power and Renewables, which he began in 2019. In his role Trevor is responsible for the delivery of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts in biomass, waste oils, conventional Combined Heat & Power, fuels storage, and the Saltend Chemicals Park. He also leads a team which delivers O&M services in support of contracts across px Group.
The acquisition of Saltend Chemicals Park from BP in 2018 is the first acquisition that px Group has made. Under Trevor’s direction it has given px Group an opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities to several Blue-chip partners which the site serves.
Trevor passionately believes that energy and infrastructure services should be delivered in a safe, efficient and environmentally conscious manner and px Group want to be seen as one of the leading suppliers of services in support of delivering change through the energy transition and beyond. Trevor and the px Group team are focused on growing the business in support of this strategy.
Trevor has been a member of the Senior Leadership team for ten years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the px Group business and experience within the Downstream and Power sector.
He is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology as well as the Chartered Management Institute.
