The safe and efficient operation of any facility is essential however, without the support of a high quality commercial infrastructure, the project will not achieve maximum commercial success. px has almost 20 years of experience in the power, gas and carbon markets and in 2007 created a specialist subsidiary to oversee these activities – energy24 limited. energy24 currently provides 24/7 commercial management and trading services from its Teesside-based Energy Management Centre to a number of customers (both physical and non physical parties). |

From its construction in 1992 up to the handover in March 2008 to new owners GDF Suez, px people managed all of the trading (power, gas and carbon) and commercial contracts for the 1875MW Teesside Power Station.
px manages the gas processing and liquid sale arrangements on behalf of the owners of Teesside Gas Processing Plant. This plant is capable of processing up to 6% of the UK gas supply.
energy24 also provides power and gas trading services to a number of other clients ranging from new market entrants to major energy companies.
