Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) is a top tier COMAH site and processes 800 million standard cubic feet of gas per day which is equivalent to 10% of the UK gas supply. North Sea gas is transported to the TGPP via the Central Area Transmission System pipeline. The processed gas is delivered to Teesside Power Station as well as other industrial users and the National Transmission System. The plant also produces up to 2,000 tonnes per day of natural gas liquids in the form of propane, butane and C5’s. px currently operates, maintains and manages the facility and its associated contracts on behalf of its owners.
