Management Strength

The experience and competence of the Directors, Senior Management and Operational teams of px provide a strong foundation upon which our high quality service is delivered.

We believe that people are one of the key assets to our business and provide the strength in depth to deliver an exceptional service.

We currently employ approximately 200 people accross the px group broken down into the following areas:

SAFETY – is the cornerstone of px and the number one business value; one that would never be compromised.  This gives px employees the comfort that they are valued and our client the comfort that px would always minimise risk to their assets.

TRUST – is all about developing an open and honest environment where problems are not hidden and solutions are found.  This means our operators feel comfortable about making decisions and contributions to the continued development of the facilities which they work at.

ATTAINMENT – to px, means achieving exceptional performance in terms of safety and production.  This is reinforced by the ownership and pride px’s operational teams feel for our client’s plants and performance.

RESPECT – last but certainly not least this is the reinforcement of all of the other values, including learning by mistakes and rewarding successes, to demonstrate px encourages ownership and personal accountability.

The values are more than a set of words – they are engrained into the O&M team culture to ensure that delivery is competent and professional. The values also demonstrate the thought processes we encourage in our teams i.e.

  • Is the proposed action SAFE?
    This is px’s primary consideration and safe could be from an Safety, Environmental, technical or commercial perspective.

  • Does everyone TRUST the action?
    This is the test that the actions have been well considered and communicated to all of the relevant parties that could be affected by the action – thus generating ‘trust’ that the right decisions have been made.

  • Would the proposed action ATTAIN the outcome?
    Or, in other words, would the action have the desired affect?

  • Is RESPECT maintained?
    This test is to ensure that decisions maintain the respect established between the parties and that the integrity of individuals and the company are not compromised.


If the answer to all of these questions is ‘yes’ then the likelihood is that the decision has been well thought through and taken in the best interests of everyone involved - the individual, the team, px and our client.
